# FAQ

> Common questions about access, wallets, launches, and automations.

## Access

  <Accordion title="How do I get access?">
    Chipper is invite-only. Message the team for an invite, or redeem a license key if you already have one. Someone on the platform can also send you an [invite link](/platform/invite-codes).

  <Accordion title="How do I sign in?">
    Open Telegram and go to **@ChipperAccountBot**. Tap **Access Platform**. The bot sends a one-time login link. Tap it to open Chipper in your browser. See [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in).

  <Accordion title="Do I need a password or a seed phrase?">
    No. Your workspace is tied to your Telegram account. Chipper does not ask you to create a password to sign in.

  <Accordion title="What if my session expires?">
    The login link is single-use. Go back to **@ChipperAccountBot**, tap **Access Platform**, and use the new link.

  <Accordion title="How do I invite someone?">
    Open your avatar → **Settings** → [Invite codes](/platform/invite-codes). Available codes show **Not claimed yet**. Click **Copy invite link** and send it. After they redeem it, the row shows **Claimed by**. Extra codes come from support.

## Wallets and funding

  <Accordion title="What is a folder?">
    A [folder](/wallets/folders) is a named group of wallets. Use it to fund, distribute, collect, and trade across many addresses at once. A wallet can sit in more than one folder.

  <Accordion title="What is a funder?">
    A [funder](/wallets/folders#mark-as-funder) is the wallet that funds a folder's members. A folder can have only one. It shows a **Funder** badge in the table. A developer wallet is different: that is the wallet that deploys a token.

  <Accordion title="Can I mix Solana and EVM wallets in one folder?">
    No. Once a folder has wallets, it locks to Solana or EVM. You cannot mix [networks](/get-started/core-concepts) in the same folder. Selection on the wallet table is network-locked the same way.

  <Accordion title="What is the difference between a network and a chain?">
    A **network** is the signing scheme: `solana` or `evm`. A **chain** is the specific chain: `solana`, `bnb`, or `robinhood`. They share a name on Solana, but they are not the same thing. See [Chains and protocols](/get-started/chains-and-protocols).

  <Accordion title="How do I add wallets?">
    Open [Add wallets](/wallets/add-wallets). **Generate** creates new addresses. **Import** pastes keys you already have. **Assign** adds a folder and keeps existing ones. **Move** replaces every folder membership.

  <Accordion title="How do I fund wallets?">
    Open [Fund](/wallets/fund). Send from a Chipper wallet, or deposit from a CEX. Review the quote before you submit. The quote shows the fee.

  <Accordion title="How do I split funds or sweep them back?">
    * **[Distribute](/wallets/distribute)** splits one wallet across many. The common case is a funder to its folder members.
    * **[Collect](/wallets/collect)** consolidates selected wallets back to a destination.
    * **[Transfer](/wallets/transfer)** sends tokens or native currency to one destination.

  <Accordion title="Can I move value between chains?">
    Yes. [Convert](/wallets/convert) swaps assets or bridges across chains. Pick **Standard** or **CEX**, then review the convert quote before you submit.

  <Accordion title="Can I export my wallets?">
    Yes. Select wallets or folders, then [Export](/wallets/export). Chipper downloads a CSV with names, addresses, networks, and private keys. Treat the file as a secret.

## Launching

  <Accordion title="How do I launch a token?">
    Open [Tokens](/trading/tokens), then **New token** in the Launch sidebar. You can also click **Create token**, or press **G** then **N**. The editor is five steps: Token, Strategy, Wallets, Automations, and Review. See [Launch](/launch/launch).

  <Accordion title="Which chains can I launch on?">
    [Solana](/get-started/chains-and-protocols), BNB, and Robinhood. The protocols you see depend on the chain you pick. A protocol is the venue the token launches on, not a chain.

  <Accordion title="Can I save a launch and finish it later?">
    Yes. Chipper autosaves a [launch draft](/launch/drafts) after you leave the Token step, or as soon as you fill in a token detail. Resume it from the Launch sidebar. Drafts follow your account.

  <Accordion title="Can I manage a token I did not launch?">
    Yes. Use **Import live** on [Tokens](/trading/tokens#importing-a-live-token). Paste the contract. Chipper finds the live token and opens its page. Imported tokens have no **Launched** badge.

  <Accordion title="What is a developer wallet?">
    The wallet that deploys the token. You pick it in the Wallets step of [Launch](/launch/launch). It is not a wallet kind on the wallets table. Trading from it can expose or dump the supply, so Chipper asks before you select it.

  <Accordion title="How do I claim creator fees?">
    Open the token you launched. **Creator Fees** sits on the [trade sidebar](/launch/creator-fees) when the protocol supports it and the fee recipient wallet is attached. Hold **Hold to claim**. Fees land in the **Current recipient** wallet.

  <Accordion title="Can I practice a launch without spending funds?">
    Yes. Turn on [demo mode](/platform/demo-mode) from **Settings → Demo mode**. The editor is the same. Nothing reaches a chain.

## Automations

  <Accordion title="What is an automation?">
    A [server-run strategy](/automations/automations) attached to a token. It keeps running if you close the tab. You start, pause, resume, or cancel it as a job.

  <Accordion title="Which automations can I run?">
    * **[Sniper Guard](/automations/sniper-guard)** protects a launch from external snipers. Arm it on the launch Automations step.
    * **[Auto Buy](/automations/auto-buy)** and **[Auto Sell](/automations/auto-sell)** provide two-way volume.
    * **[Volume Bot](/automations/volume-bot)** and **[Bumper Bot](/automations/bumper-bot)** keep chart activity going.
    * **[Cleanup](/automations/cleanup)** consolidates or exits positions across wallets. It is token-page only.

    Configure the live ones on the [token page](/trading/token-page), not from the Tokens list. The Strategies sidebar on Tokens is tagged **Soon**.

  <Accordion title="Do automations work on tokens I imported?">
    Yes. Attach a strategy on the token page. For example, use [Auto Sell](/automations/auto-sell) to scale out of a position you already hold.

  <Accordion title="How is an automation different from a quick-trade chip?">
    [Quick-trade chips](/trading/quick-trade) are one-click buys and sells on a wallet row. You click them. An automation is a job Chipper runs for you. [Instant Trade](/trading/quick-trade#instant-trade) only skips the confirmation dialog on those chips. The [trade sidebar](/trading/trade-sidebar) does not use it.
